Meet Our Dental Team Durham

Tina

Tina is Dr. Ulloa's assistant and has worked in that position for a number of years. She is a graduate of the Alamance Community College dental assistant program, and she is looking forward to joining our team and helping our patients with their dental care.

Tina lives on the family farm in the Caldwell community with her husband, just down the hill from her daughter and grandson. She enjoys visiting the beach and looking for shark teeth.

Kimberly

Kimberly has been a part of our team for over 10 years. She has a degree in elementary education from East Carolina University and earned her dental hygiene training from Wake Technical Community College. She loves that we provide excellent care while getting to know our patients on a personal level, and she loves the people she gets to work who make coming to work fun.

Kimberly has one son, Tucker, and one daughter, Charlotte, who she loves spending time with. In her free time, she also enjoys watching movies and camping.

Rebekah

With over 15 years of experience in the dental field, Rebekah is dedicated to providing a seamless and welcoming experience for both patients and staff at Crafting Smiles, With a deep understanding of office operations, patient care, and team leadership, Rebekah ensures the practice runs smoothly, focusing on creating a positive atmosphere and efficient workflow. Passionate about supporting the dental team and delivering excellent customer service, Rebekah plays a key role in patient satisfaction, helping individuals navigate their dental care with ease.
Outside of the ofice, Rebekah enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her daughter and husband Kyle.

Beth

With over 30 years of experience creating healthy, beautiful smiles, Beth brings exceptional skill and dedication to her work. Her expertise in dentistry shines through in the care she provides, always leaving her patients with a confident glow. Passionate about oral health, Beth combines professionalism with a warm, personal touch. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends. At Crafting Smiles, Beth is always ready to help you craft the perfect smile.

Mandy

Born and raised in the foothills of western North Carolina. Studied dental assisting at western piedmont community college. 20 years of dental assisting experience yet still loves continuing to learn something new everyday. Through compassion and great care she enjoys the experience with each and every patient to get them out of pain or help them smile again, there is no greater joy! Outside of work Mandy enjoys painting classic cars and wood burning. She has two girls Macy and Mattie who are her world.

Melanie

Melanie is often the first welcoming face patients see when they walk into the office. She has a few years of experience working in dentistry, with a background in pediatrics. She enjoys bringing positive energy to the office and welcoming patients with a bright, friendly presence each day.

Away from the office, Melanie enjoys exploring new cities and trying different restaurants with her husband and two wonderful children.

Christy

Christy began her dental career after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Alamance Community College in 2003. She spent many years as a chairside assistant, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and a passion for patient care. Over time, Christy expanded her role in the practice, transitioning to Patient Coordinator and later Treatment Coordinator. In this position, she enjoys helping patients understand their treatment options and guiding them through their dental journey with confidence and ease.

Outside of the office, Christy has been happily married to her husband, Charles, for over 20 years and is a proud mom to two children, Mason and Molly. She also loves spending time with her two dogs, Abby and Luka. Christy values family, connection, and creating positive experiences both at work and at home.

Amber

Amber has been working in the dental field since 2009 as both a dental assistant and treatment coordinator. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and supported, especially those who may feel nervous about visiting the dentist. Her focus is on creating a welcoming, relaxed environment where patients feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive, while helping them feel confident about their smile and overall experience.

Outside of work, Amber is a proud mom to her daughter, Kenny. She also enjoys interior design and DIY projects in her free time!
