Dr. Ulloa began his dental career in his native Cuba, and he went on to practice in Ecuador before ultimately graduating from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He could have settled anywhere, but he decided to make Durham home for himself, his wife, and their two young children because he felt drawn to the community and knew he could make a difference when it came to people’s health and wellbeing.
